The 2025 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit opened on November 7 in the historic town of Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province, China. This 12th edition and the fourth since WIC's establishment as an international organization in 2022 has brought together more than 1,600 participants from over 130 countries and regions, along with representatives from bodies such as the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Drawing on the summit theme—Building an Open, Cooperative, Secure, and Inclusive Digital Future: Jointly Forging a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace—he highlighted three pillars that are shaping global consensus:
