China-France Political Parties Dialogue Charts Next 60 Years of Cooperation

In a dynamic exchange on Thursday, more than 40 representatives from China and France convened in Beijing for a high-level political parties dialogue themed around Mutual Trust, Cooperation and Win-Win Outcomes: China-France Ties Facing the Next 60 Years. The event marked a new chapter in bilateral relations, fueled by data-driven insights and a shared vision for sustainable partnership.

Liu Haixing, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, kicked off the session by outlining key takeaways from the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He highlighted how the leaders of both nations have steered ties onto a fast track in the new era, and emphasized the CPC's commitment to implementing the consensus reached by the heads of state.

French delegates, including members of the Renaissance Party, the Republican Party, the Socialist Party, the Horizons Party, and the Union of Democrats and Independents, along with business community figures and embassy officials, praised China’s push for high-standard opening up. They voiced their support for deeper mutual investment, strategic independence, and win-win development models.

The dialogue combined real-world stories with forward-looking discussions, as participants shared governance practices and explored joint opportunities in technology, trade, and sustainable development. By fostering a spirit of mutual learning and respect, both sides aim to chart a roadmap for the next six decades of cooperation.

This meeting reinforces a global narrative where partnership transcends borders, inviting young entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and digital nomads to watch for emerging collaborations that shape tomorrow’s interconnected world.
