Chinese Vice President Han Zheng to Visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Attend Qatar Social Summit

Chinese Vice President Han Zheng is set to embark on a high-profile tour of the Middle East, marking a vibrant chapter in Sino-Middle Eastern relations.

He will visit Saudi Arabia and Kuwait from October 28 to November 2 at the invitation of Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah. This trip underscores growing collaborations on social initiatives, economic opportunities, and cultural exchange.

Immediately after, Han Zheng will head to Qatar to attend the Second World Summit for Social Development from November 3 to 5. Hosted under the auspices of Qatar authorities, the summit convenes global leaders to tackle pressing social challenges—poverty reduction, education access, and inclusive growth.

With youth empowerment and sustainable development at its core, the summit offers a platform for cross-border dialogue. Han Zheng's attendance highlights China's engagement in global social agendas and its commitment to fostering partnerships that resonate with young innovators, activists, and changemakers worldwide.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry made the announcement on Monday, framing the journey as a milestone in cultivating deeper bonds and tackling social issues through multilateral cooperation.
