Beijing is set to host the 2025 Financial Street Forum from October 27 to 30 in its historic Xicheng District. Bringing together more than 400 distinguished guests from over 30 countries and regions, this year’s theme—Global Financial Development in an Era of Innovation, Transformation and Restructuring—signals a bold new chapter for global finance.
The forum’s structure combines a main forum, parallel sessions, a fintech conference and supporting events. Attendees can expect 27 thematic discussions, six investment and financing matchmaking activities, and 11 fintech-focused events that blend cutting-edge tech showcases with high-level policy debates.
International reach is at an all-time high, with leaders from major financial organizations and senior executives from top global institutions. Five overseas sub-forums—the largest number ever—will convene across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. Representatives will also fly in from financial hubs like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Casablanca and Frankfurt, ensuring a truly global dialogue.
Domestic and international private enterprises, specialized small and medium-sized businesses, and visiting delegations will further broaden participation. To spark synergy with local consumers, the Financial Street Forum Shopping Season runs throughout October. Highlights include special sales at the Financial Street Shopping Center, a Global Delights Carnival market, and interactive online experiences on the Xicheng Consumption platform.
Launched in 2012 and upgraded in 2020 to a national and international professional platform, the Financial Street Forum has become a must-attend event for those shaping the future of finance. This year’s edition promises fresh perspectives, actionable insights and a roadmap for navigating an era defined by innovation and structural change.
Stay tuned as we track how Beijing’s 2025 forum will influence the next wave of financial trends, from fintech breakthroughs to global investment strategies.
