Guo stated that China's position on the Taiwan question remains consistent and clear: the Taiwan region is an inalienable part of China's territory. He added that Beijing is willing to strive for peaceful reunification with utmost sincerity and effort.
At the same time, Guo warned that China will never allow any person or force to split the Taiwan region from China in any form. This reaffirmation underscores Beijing's long-standing policy on cross-strait ties and sets the tone for future interactions across the Taiwan Strait.
