Huangshan Mountain: UNESCO World Heritage Spotlight at RCEP Event

The 2025 General Assembly of the RCEP Member States World Heritage Cooperation Alliance (RCEP–WHCA) kicked off on October 17 in Huangshan City, Anhui Province of the Chinese mainland.

Delegates from across the region took center stage to praise Huangshan Mountain for its breathtaking scenery, celebrating the site’s dual recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage property since 1990.

Beyond its cultural legacy, Huangshan boasts Mesozoic granite landscapes sculpted over millions of years. Iconic sea of clouds, ancient pines clinging to sheer cliffs, and winding valleys invite exploration and wonder.

Now a UNESCO Global Geopark, Huangshan offers a living record of Earth’s history. Even if you can’t be here in person, a curated virtual journey brings these dramatic vistas to screens worldwide.
