Beijing's Autumn Tea Industry Trade Expo invites tea lovers and culture enthusiasts to immerse themselves in a four-day journey of flavor and artistry. Running through October 19, the event blends premium teas, exquisite tea ware and hands-on experiences that celebrate the season's tranquil spirit.
Visitors can savor curated tastings while selecting cakes to pair with their favorite tea drinks. Across the expo halls, artisan booths showcase hand-painted lidded bowls, teapots and more, inviting you to find the perfect piece for your slow tea rituals at home.
Tea ware enthusiast Chen shares her excitement: "Autumn is perfect for slow tea sessions at home. I came specifically to find a hand-painted lidded bowl and a teapot for boiling tea," she explains.
The expo also hosts a lineup of enlightening lectures, including a tea and seasonal snack pairing workshop, and a Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127) Ceramics Symposium. These sessions offer a deep dive into the refined aesthetics of tea culture, bridging history with modern craftsmanship.
