Beijing – Host nation stars shone bright at the WTT China Smash, with two home squads seizing doubles glory on Saturday.

In the men's final, top seeds Wang Chuqin and Lin Shidong overpowered compatriots Zhou Qihao and Chen Junsong in straight games, winning 11-8, 13-11, 11-7. After a tense second game that stretched to 11-11, Wang and Lin claimed two decisive points to move 2-0 up and never looked back.

“This is our second time playing together in a WTT Grand Smash event,” Wang Chuqin said. “Compared to last time, our communication and understanding in the doubles event have improved.”

On the women's side, the pairing of Wang Manyu and Kuai Man topped the podium, delivering a commanding performance that underlined the Chinese mainland’s depth in talent.

With these victories, the home paddlers continue to write a dominant chapter at one of the season’s most electric stops – and global fans are buzzing as China’s doubles legacy keeps growing.
