Under the theme "Silk Road Connects the World, Film Festival Illuminates Fuzhou," this five-day cultural feast invites young global citizens, filmmakers, and travelers to explore the intersection of storytelling and heritage.
Running through September 26, the festival features 12 main events that blend industry showcases with immersive experiences:

With over 2,800 submissions — a record haul — including 1,850 films from Belt and Road partner countries, this year’s lineup is the most diverse yet. A 13-member jury of Chinese and international filmmakers, led by director Chen Kaige, will select winners across 10 categories, from Best Film to Best Director.
To celebrate the region’s cultural tapestry, Chinese actors Xu Ruohan and Xia Zhiguang and Cambodian Princess Norodom Jenna are serving as festival ambassadors.
