The 22nd China-ASEAN Expo opened Wednesday in Nanning, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, covering 160,000 square meters and welcoming around 3,200 companies from 60 countries and regions.
For the first time, dedicated zones for artificial intelligence, new quality productive forces, the blue economy and foreign trade products have been unveiled. The star attraction is the AI pavilion—a 10,000-square-meter hall that's the largest single-theme space in the expo's history—featuring nearly 200 high-tech enterprises.
More than half of the exhibits are AI-related or AI-enabled, showcasing everything from smart logistics and predictive maintenance tools to voice-activated assistants and autonomous robots. On opening day, the AI pavilion quickly became a major draw for visitors hungry to experience cutting-edge demonstrations.
Beyond AI, the expo highlights how new quality productive forces and the blue economy are shaping sustainable growth and cross-border collaboration. Business and tech enthusiasts gain a front-row seat to innovation, while thought leaders and changemakers can explore data-driven insights on global trade trends.
Whether you’re a young innovator seeking partnership opportunities, a digital nomad scouting immersive events, or a sustainability advocate tracking the blue economy, the China-ASEAN Expo offers fresh perspectives on real-world impact and international cooperation.
