French musical stars Melissa Mars and Noémie Garcia, known for their breakthrough roles in "Mozart, L'Opéra Rock," took the "Wonder Power" tour to Shanghai and Beijing in mid-August, delivering a fresh take on French and Broadway musical hits.
Reflecting on the shows, Mars said, "The audience got to know each of us separately, but in the same musical. They tend to like musicals. So, that was a way to connect with them."
For Garcia, a newcomer to performing on the Chinese mainland, the passion of local fans was unforgettable. "They have the set list before. If they don't know the song, they will learn it," she shared. "It's really special."
