UN@80: Young Creators Share Future Visions in ‘One Home: Shared Future’ Photo Series

2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, and to celebrate this milestone, CGTN and global partners have launched the "One Home: Shared Future" Visual Storytelling Initiative. Young creators from around the world are invited to capture and share their hopes, challenges, and dreams for humanity's next chapter.

The eighth collection showcases ten standout images that bring fresh perspectives on our shared future:

  • Urban Renewal: A 22-year-old photographer from Lagos frames community-led green spaces sprouting amid bustling city streets.
  • Tech for Good: A student in Berlin uses long exposure to illustrate digital bridges connecting remote villages across continents.
  • Generations United: A portrait series from São Paulo highlights the exchange of wisdom between elders and youth.
  • Climate Hope: An image from Melbourne captures volunteers planting mangroves along a restored shoreline.
  • Cultural Harmony: A snapshot from New Delhi shows a multicultural music workshop in full swing.

With over 5,000 submissions spanning 140 countries and regions, the initiative reflects the creativity and optimism of a new generation. Each monthly drop brings fresh insights into how young people envision solutions for sustainability, equity, and global solidarity.

Stay tuned for future collections as the countdown to the UN's 80th anniversary continues. Discover more at global exhibitions and online galleries, and join the conversation by sharing your own vision for our shared home.
