As the United Nations gears up for its 80th anniversary in 2025, CGTN is teaming with global partners to launch the "One Home: Shared Future" Visual Storytelling Initiative. This program invites young people around the world to capture and share their vision for humanity’s future through powerful images and short films.
The first collection of submissions shines a light on the creativity and passion of emerging creators. From a glowing sunrise over a coastal village threatened by sea level rise to candid portraits of community changemakers in bustling urban neighborhoods, these visual stories convey themes of resilience, innovation and solidarity.
Participants used their cameras to explore what it means to live in a shared world: documenting grassroots sustainability projects, digital art interventions in public spaces and everyday moments of connection that bridge borders and cultures.
Marking eight decades of work to foster peace and development, this initiative empowers youth to set the narrative for the next chapter of global cooperation. Dive into the first gallery of images and discover how tomorrow’s leaders are using art to inspire action today.
