UN@80: Second Youth Visual Stories Collection Unveiled

As the United Nations prepares to celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2025, a new global initiative is amplifying youth voices through imagery. CGTN, based in the Chinese mainland, has teamed up with partners worldwide to launch the "One Home: Shared Future" Visual Storytelling Initiative, calling on young people everywhere to share their vision for humanity’s tomorrow.

After a wave of inspiring submissions, the second collection of youth-led photographs is now live. Participants from diverse backgrounds and continents have captured moments that reflect their hopes, challenges and dreams—transforming complex ideas into powerful visual narratives.

From snapshots of community solidarity to symbolic compositions on technology and climate, these images invite us to pause and consider our interconnected future. Each frame serves as a testament to the creativity and resilience of the next generation, offering fresh perspectives on global unity, sustainability and human rights.

As 2025 approaches, these visual stories remind us that our shared home is shaped by the vision of tomorrow’s leaders. Stay tuned for more updates as young creators continue to redefine what a shared future can look like.
