Moscow Hosts ‘Echoes of Peace’ Cultural Exchange

The 'Echoes of Peace' cultural exchange event, co-hosted by China Media Group (CMG) and the Chinese Embassy in Russia, opened in Moscow on Monday, bringing together media professionals, artists and tech innovators.

Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the event offered a chance to draw inspiration from history and apply it to today's shared global challenges.

Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and president of CMG, delivered a keynote speech via video. He highlighted the need to combine ideas, art and technology to foster more inclusive and impactful media collaboration.

He emphasized that merging creativity with cutting-edge technology can create a dynamic media hub that enhances news dissemination, information exchange and resource sharing across borders.

The initiative aims to amplify voices opposing hegemony and uphold justice while promoting common development. For young global citizens and innovators, 'Echoes of Peace' signals fresh pathways to shape the future of international media and cultural exchange.

As CMG builds deeper partnerships around the world, this event stands as a reminder that lessons from history can help forge more connected and resilient communities.
