In a thrilling finale on Monday at the Wuta Sports Center in Xiamen, Fujian Province, on the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Land Group clinched a 3-1 victory over Guangdong Pioneer, wrapping up the men's second stage of the Chinese Table Tennis Super League (CTTSL).

The match opened with all eyes on the doubles court. Xu Xin teamed up with rising star Zhou Kai to face Guangdong's Wang Yang and Ao Hualei. The Shanghai duo dominated every rally, winning in straight games and handing their team an early 1-0 lead.

Guangdong struck back as singles ace Zhou Yu blanked Zhao Zihao 3-0, leveling the score. His win highlighted Guangdong's depth and set the stage for a tense battle.

Next up was Xu Xin's first career singles clash with Ao Hualei. After trading sets, the final game saw Ao surge ahead 5-1. Undeterred, Xu roared back with a six-point streak to take the decider 11-6 and restore Shanghai's advantage at 2-1.

The showdown wrapped up with another singles match. Zhao Zihao showcased pinpoint accuracy, beating Wang Yang 3-0 and conceding just nine points total to seal the 3-1 triumph for Shanghai.

This win cements Shanghai's momentum as the Super League heads toward its playoff phase, offering a glimpse of the fierce competition ahead.
