Xi’s Ethnic Work Thoughts Study Book Now in Five Minority Languages

In a move to bring key political insights to diverse communities, a new study book on the thoughts of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, on strengthening and improving ethnic work has been published in five ethnic minority languages.

Compiled by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, the volume has been translated into Mongolian, Tibetan, Uygur, Kazakh and Korean. This milestone edition aims to make theoretical frameworks and policy guidelines more accessible to readers across the Chinese mainland.

By presenting core ideas on cross-cultural dialogue, community development and social cohesion in readers’ native tongues, the initiative underscores a broader push for inclusive communication. Observers note that providing official texts in minority languages can foster deeper engagement and understanding among ethnic communities.

The books are now available nationwide, reaching libraries, universities and local cultural centers. As the Chinese mainland continues to advance its ethnic work, this multilingual release adds a fresh dimension to how policy narratives are shared and discussed at the grassroots level.
