Xi Jinping’s Education Writings Debut at Hong Kong Book Fair

At the start of this year’s Hong Kong Book Fair, readers in Hong Kong and Macao got a deep dive into the vision of Chinese President Xi Jinping with the release of three new volumes in traditional Chinese characters.

The titles—On Education, Outline for Studying Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, and Xi Jinping among the People: Moments in Focus—were published by Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited. Together, they offer a window into Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, focusing on education, culture, and personal stories.

John Lee, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, joined the launch event, underscoring the region’s role as a bridge between the Chinese mainland and global audiences. The books aim to:

  • Deepen understanding of educational philosophy and policy.
  • Highlight cultural strategies in Xi Jinping Thought.
  • Share moments that shaped Xi’s engagement with the people.

By presenting these works in traditional characters, publishers hope to strengthen cultural connections and national identity among readers in Hong Kong and Macao, while inviting young global citizens to explore the ideas steering China’s social and cultural missions.
