Key Areas of Cooperation
Wang Yi emphasized that the Chinese mainland sees Uzbekistan as a top priority in its neighborhood diplomacy. Both sides agreed to accelerate work on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway, aiming to boost regional connectivity and trade. Other focal points include artificial intelligence, green transformation and desertification control.

With the SCO Tianjin Summit on the horizon, China and Uzbekistan pledged close coordination with other member states to ensure a successful meeting.
