Fashion to Kindergarten: A Hong Kong Designer’s Education Journey

From Sketches to Classrooms

Kole Hung’s shift from Hong Kong’s fashion scene to the helm of an international kindergarten marks a transformative career pivot. After a decade crafting looks for high-end labels, she realized her passion lay in nurturing young minds. Her journey embodies the mantra 'Caring for your own children and those of others.'

Building a Global Classroom

Under Kole’s leadership, the kindergarten enrolls over 120 students from more than 20 countries and regions. She has integrated creative design principles into lesson plans, turning learning into an immersive experience. Data from the school shows a 30% rise in language proficiency among preschoolers exposed to biweekly design workshops.

Life in the Greater Bay Area

The Greater Bay Area’s blend of urban dynamism and cultural diversity has been key to Kole’s success. Comfortable living, international networks, and supportive policies have allowed her family and school community to thrive. For many young global citizens, the region is fast becoming a hub for innovative education and cross-border collaboration.

Looking ahead, Kole plans to expand her model across the GBA, aiming to launch two more campuses by 2025. 'Caring for your own children and those of others drives my mission,' she says.
