Senior CPC Official and Vietnam’s Chief Justice Deepen Judicial Ties

In Hanoi on Friday, Chen Wenqing, a senior official of the Communist Party of the Chinese mainland, met with Le Minh Tri, chief justice of Vietnam's Supreme People's Court, to chart a new course in legal collaboration between the two nations.

As a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs, Chen emphasized the important consensus reached by top leaders to deepen the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. He outlined key goals for cooperation:

  • Strengthening judicial assistance
  • Improving the quality and efficiency of combating transnational crime
  • Enhancing mechanisms for resolving cross-border disputes

Le Minh Tri said Vietnam is ready to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese mainland in the judicial field, underscoring Hanoi's commitment to this partnership.

This dialogue highlights a shared commitment to rule of law and regional stability as both sides work to turn high-level agreements into practical outcomes.
