AI Strategist Triumphs at CMG’s First Humanoid Robot Fighting Competition

In a groundbreaking showcase of robotics and AI, the world's first humanoid robot fighting competition unfolded on Sunday in east China's Hangzhou City. Hosted by China Media Group (CMG), the Mech Combat Arena Competition delivered high-octane action and cutting-edge engineering as contenders battled for supremacy.

Each bout featured three two-minute rounds. Competitors earned points for strikes: 1 point for arm hits and 3 points for leg attacks. Any effective blow to the head or torso counted, while knockdowns and failure to recover within 8 seconds carried penalties of 5 and 10 points, respectively.

The opening match pitted AI Strategist, piloted by Lu Xin, against Jiao Tianqi's Silk Artisan. After trading agile leg strikes and knee strikes across the first two rounds, AI Strategist landed a decisive knee blow in round three, clinching the win with a dramatic knockdown.

Next up, Energy Guardian, operated by Hu Yunqian, faced Chen Liangyu's Armored Mulan. Energy Guardian scored an early knockdown, and despite a tight second round, held firm to capitalize on an accidental fall by Armored Mulan in round three, securing a second victory for the day.

AI Strategist's triumph not only marks a milestone in humanoid robotics competitions but also reflects the rapid pace of innovation shaping the future of AI-driven machines. With CMG's Mech Combat Arena setting the stage, the global tech community is watching as these next-generation robots push the limits of agility, precision, and endurance.
