China Urges U.S.-Funded Firms to Strengthen Global Supply Chains

In a spirited roundtable in Beijing, Chinese Vice Commerce Minister Ling Ji called on U.S.-funded enterprises to actively collaborate in stabilizing the global industrial and supply chains. Representatives from more than 20 companies, including Tesla, GE HealthCare, and Medtronic, gathered to exchange ideas on fostering resilient market dynamics.

During the discussion, Ling emphasized that multilateralism is the only viable path to overcome todayโ€™s global challenges. He highlighted that the Chinese mainland's commitment to open and fair foreign investment remains unwavering, with continuous measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of these enterprises. He also noted that recent U.S. tariff measures have undermined the multilateral trading system, urging a swift return to balanced global trade practices.

This dialogue underscores the importance of international cooperation and offers fresh insights for young global citizens, business innovators, and tech enthusiasts seeking sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships.
