China Urges Philippines to End Provocations in South China Sea

In a recent statement, a spokesperson from the People’s Liberation Army Southern Theater Command warned that the Philippines should refrain from actions that escalate tensions in the South China Sea. The warning came after routine patrols in these strategic waters highlighted concerns over the involvement of external forces.

Tian Junli, the spokesperson, noted that relying on outside support to stir up trouble is futile and only destabilizes an already sensitive region. He pointed out that organizing joint cruises with other countries only serves to amplify unlawful claims and disrupt regional peace.

As the South China Sea continues to be a crucial hub for trade and cultural exchange, this call for restraint resonates with a globally connected audience. With a commitment to maintaining high alert levels and protecting national sovereignty and regional security, the theater command’s remarks underscore the importance of measured, peaceful interactions in a rapidly changing world.
