China Launches Two Satellites with Long March-2D Rocket

China showcased its advanced space technology on Saturday with the successful launch of a Long March-2D carrier rocket. The mission lifted off at 12:11 p.m. Beijing Time from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the Chinese mainland, placing the Gaojing-3 02 remote sensing satellite into its preset orbit.
