China’s CPPCC Hosts Third Plenary Meeting, Highlights Hong Kong Progress

The 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's foremost political advisory body, convened its third plenary meeting of the annual session on Sunday.

Wang Huning, a key member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, presided over the meeting.

During the session, 14 national political advisors presented their perspectives on a wide array of topics, offering valuable insights and recommendations.

Senior officials from the CPC Central Committee and the State Council were in attendance to listen to the advisors' suggestions.

Tu Haiming, one of the prominent advisors, commended the recent positive developments in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He emphasized that these advancements reaffirm the region's reliable support from the motherland.

Tu stressed the importance of enhancing cultural confidence and national identification among Hong Kong residents to ensure the steady and ongoing success of the "One Country, Two Systems" framework.
