Transportation and livelihood in remote areas of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have seen significant enhancements in recent years, according to Ayimusha Tuohetahong, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
As the vice chairwoman of the CPPCC of Ulugqat County in northwest Xinjiang, Tuohetahong highlighted that nearly all villages within the region are now serviced by reliable delivery networks. This expansion has enabled agricultural and husbandry products from Xinjiang to reach markets across other regions of China, fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for local residents.
Tuohetahong made these remarks during a question-and-answer session at the Members' Corridor, part of the third session of the 14th National Committee of the CPPCC's second group interview held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
