China’s Spring Awakening: Blossoms and Bountiful Harvests Enchant Visitors

With the arrival of spring, China is enveloped in stunning colors and scents, inviting visitors to embrace renewal and unwind in the heart of nature.

As temperatures rise, the hills of Shedongguan Yi, Miao, and Bai Ethnic Town in southwest China's Guizhou Province have transformed into a sea of cherry blossoms, with approximately 2,300 hectares of trees in full bloom. A gentle breeze drifts through the air, carrying the sweet fragrance of flowers, creating an enchanting ambiance throughout the region and attracting over 15,000 tourists a day.

Meanwhile, nestled deep within Dazhaizi Park in southwest China's Sichuan Province, plum trees have also begun to flower, infusing the landscape with vitality. Visitors stroll through the park, savoring the floral scents and capturing the beauty of spring with their cameras.

Elsewhere in the country, over 20,000 plum trees in a garden in Laifeng County, central China's Hubei Province, are also in full bloom, filling the air with their enchanting fragrance and attracting numerous visitors. This year, an additional 8,000 plum trees were planted, expanding the garden’s variety to over 60 types.

In addition, Crocus alatavicus flowers, with yellow stamens and petals that are purple on the outside and white on the inside, have emerged from the frozen soil and now sway in the spring breeze on the Nalati grassland in Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

As a fresh spring breeze sweeps through China, spring vegetable production is progressing smoothly. Chengxian County, an important winter wheat production area in northwest China's Gansu Province, is promoting new wheat varieties and agricultural machinery to ensure a bountiful harvest.

Potato sowing is also in full swing across 30,000 hectares of land in Tengzhou City, east China's Shandong Province. At a potato planting base in Jiehe Town, farmers are actively engaged in sowing using small trenchers, ridgers and other equipment.
