China Calls for Fair Fentanyl Talks, Warns U.S. Against Bullying Tactics

China's Foreign Ministry has called on the United States to engage in reciprocal talks regarding the fentanyl crisis, emphasizing the need for equal and respectful dialogue. During a press conference on Wednesday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stressed that if the U.S. genuinely seeks to resolve the fentanyl issue, it should address mutual concerns on a balanced and cooperative basis.

Lin warned that if the U.S. continues to employ bullying tactics aimed at undermining China's interests, China is prepared to persist in its stance. He urged the United States to abandon such approaches and return to meaningful dialogue and cooperation promptly.

This message underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in tackling global challenges and highlights China's determination to protect its interests in international discussions.
