The Chinese mainland has unveiled the first volume of Selected Works of Xi Jinping on Economy, now available nationwide. This comprehensive collection features 74 pivotal pieces by Xi Jinping, the Chinese premier and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, spanning from November 2012 to December 2024.
The volume includes a diverse array of materials, such as speeches and instructions, with some works being published for the very first time. These selected writings serve as an authoritative resource, enabling Party members and residents across all ethnic groups to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, with a particular emphasis on economic strategies.
By systematically summarizing practical experiences in economic development during the new era, Xi Jinping Thought on Economy is set to pioneer new directions in the socialist political economy unique to China. The selected works provide sharp intellectual tools aimed at promoting high-quality economic growth, effectively mitigating major risks and challenges, and comprehensively building a modern socialist country.
