The Chinese mainland has published the first volume of selected works of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on economy. The comprehensive volume, now available nationwide, compiles 74 of Xi's most significant contributions to economic development from November 2012 to December 2024.
The collection includes a variety of formats, such as speeches and instructions, with some works being published for the first time. This publication serves as an authoritative resource for CPC members and residents across all ethnic groups in the Chinese mainland to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, with a particular focus on economic strategies.
Systematically summarizing the practical experiences of economic development in the new era, Xi Jinping Thought on Economy has paved new avenues in the socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics. It equips policymakers and stakeholders with sharp intellectual tools to promote high-quality economic growth, effectively manage major risks and challenges, and work towards the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country.
Compiled by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, the book has been published by the Central Party Literature Press.
