In a significant move to bolster bilateral relations, China’s top legislator Zhao Leji met with Dashzegve Amarbayasgalan, chairman of Mongolia’s State Great Hural, in Beijing on Tuesday. The two leaders agreed to enhance exchange and cooperation between their national and local legislatures, paving the way for a more robust strategic partnership.
Zhao emphasized that under the strategic guidance of both heads of state, China and Mongolia have seen fruitful cooperation across various fields in recent years. He expressed China’s commitment to implementing the important consensus reached by their leaders, aiming to build a China-Mongolia community with a shared future.
Highlighting the importance of mutual benefits, Zhao stated that upholding good-neighborliness and friendship is a strategic choice that aligns with the fundamental interests of both nations. He highlighted Mongolia’s willingness to enhance friendly exchanges with China’s National People’s Congress, leveraging regular exchange mechanisms to promote comprehensive strategic partnership.
