China Dominates Mixed Team Aerials at FIS Freeski World Cup

China dominated the final mixed team aerials event of the season at the Federation of International Ski and Snowboard (FIS) Freestyle Skiing World Cup held at Beidahu Ski Resort in Changchun, Jilin Province, on Monday.

Competing against seven other nations, including the USA, Canada, Ukraine, Australia, and Kazakhstan, the event showcased top-tier performances from some of the world's best freestyle skiers.

Team China 1, featuring Olympic gold medalists Xu Mengtao and Qi Guangpu alongside Li Tianma, secured the top spot on the podium with an impressive combined score of 345.26 points. Team USA 1 followed closely in second place with 317.05 points, while Team China 2, comprised of Chen Meiting, Wang Xindi, and Li Xinpeng, earned third place with 316.72 points.

\"The weather today is better than yesterday, and all my teammates performed well, so I was very confident when I went out for the last run,\" said Qi Guangpu, who contributed 123.53 points with a back double full-full-full landing.

Li Tianma, who recently won the men's aerials title on Sunday, delivered a strong performance by landing a back full-double-full-full jump for 122.57 points. Xu Mengtao, the champion in the women's aerials at Beidahu, added 99.16 points to secure the team victory.

Overall, Chinese athletes have amassed three golds, two silvers, and one bronze at the World Cup in Beidahu, highlighting their dominance in the freestyle skiing arena.
