He emphasized the steady progress in mutually beneficial cooperation and effective strategic coordination, which play a crucial role in safeguarding the common interests of both nations and their peoples while promoting global multipolarity.
China expressed its willingness to work closely with Russia to fully implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and to further advance bilateral relations in the coming year.
Sergei Lavrov echoed this sentiment, stating that Russia is committed to strengthening high-level exchanges and deepening practical cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, finance, and culture. Lavrov underscored the importance of the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination and its role in fostering stability in a complex global landscape.
Both nations reaffirmed their support for multipolarity and their roles as stabilizing forces in the world. Lavrov acknowledged China's global initiatives and the high level of mutual trust between the two countries. He expressed Russia's willingness to continue enhancing communication and coordination with China through platforms like BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the United Nations, and the G20.
