China’s Curling Teams Dominate at Asian Winter Games

China's curling teams continued their stellar run at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin on Monday, securing three decisive victories to strengthen their positions in both men's and women's tournaments. The events, hosted in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, showcased the teams' tactical precision and growing dominance in the sport.

The women's squad dominated their matches, first blanking Qatar 14-0 before overpowering Kazakhstan 11-4 in a later game. Their aggressive start against Kazakhstan saw a 5-0 lead within two ends, and despite a brief response from their opponents, China maintained control with consistent scoring across subsequent rounds.

Meanwhile, the men's team extended their unbeaten streak to three games with an 11-1 rout of Qatar, demonstrating why they're viewed as strong medal contenders. The results highlight China's rising influence in winter sports as the country continues to build momentum following the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
