The Main Media Center (MMC) for the ninth Asian Winter Games in Harbin, a bustling hub for journalists across Asia, is now fully operational. Spanning the Harbin International Conference, Exhibition and Sports Center, the MMC combines the Main Press Center (MPC) and International Broadcasting Center (IBC), designed to streamline coverage for thousands of media professionals.
Volunteers fluent in multiple languages are stationed to assist registered journalists, while foreign currency exchange outlets and an official merchandise store—featuring tiger mascots 'Binbin' and 'Nini'—add convenience and local charm. The MPC houses press conference rooms, dedicated workstations, and a historical display of torches from past Asian Winter Games, alongside themed calligraphy and artwork celebrating Harbin 2025.
With the opening ceremony set for Friday, the MMC stands ready to amplify stories from one of Asia’s premier winter sports events, blending cutting-edge logistics with cultural flair.
