Chongqing’s Leheledu Animal Park Celebrates Spring Festival with ‘Hongbao’ Treats

Chongqing's Leheledu Animal Theme Park turned festive this Spring Festival by treating its primates to special \"hongbao,\" or red envelopes, stuffed with nuts and red dates. This heartwarming gesture was part of the park's efforts to share Chinese New Year cheer with its diverse animal residents.

Animal carekeepers distributed the red envelopes among various primate species, including ring-tailed lemurs, squirrel monkeys, and black-capped capuchins. The primates delighted in their tasty rewards, adding a playful and joyful atmosphere to the celebrations.

Leheledu Animal Theme Park, located in southwest China, is home to over a hundred species of birds and animals. Visitors can witness a wide array of wildlife, such as African elephants, giraffes, golden tigers, silver tigers, and bottlenose dolphins, making it a popular destination for animal enthusiasts and families alike.
