As the Spring Festival approaches, Beijing is set to become a vibrant hub of cultural and tourism activities, welcoming visitors from around the globe. The entire Chinese mainland is immersed in a lively and festive atmosphere, with a strong emphasis on enhancing cultural and tourism consumption during the holiday season from January to February.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced on Friday that various support organizations will implement a range of promotional measures to invigorate consumption vitality throughout the holiday period. This initiative aims to provide both traditional and innovative experiences to visitors, ensuring a memorable celebration.

In Beijing alone, nearly 10,000 cultural activities are scheduled to take place during the Spring Festival. Tourists and locals alike can indulge in traditional events such as temple fairs, lantern displays, and captivating art performances. Additionally, the city will offer modern attractions like ice and snow sports, immersive audiovisual experiences, and tours of cutting-edge industrial sites.

A highlight of the festivities is the Beijing Grand Canal New Year Garden Party, held at the city's first national 5A-level tourist attraction in the eastern district's forest park. The celebration commenced on January 22 and will continue until the 15th day of the first lunar month, concluding on February 12. This event promises to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Beijing while introducing innovative entertainment options for a diverse audience.
