The Chinese mainland successfully launched a new test satellite for advanced communication technologies from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province on Thursday.
The satellite was propelled into space by a Long March-3B rocket at 11:32 p.m. Beijing Time and has reached its designated orbit without any issues.
According to the launch center, the satellite is designed to enhance satellite communications, as well as provide radio, television, and data transmission services. Additionally, it will serve as a platform for testing and validating related communication technologies.
This mission marks the 558th launch in the Long March series of carrier rockets, underscoring the Chinese mainland's ongoing commitment to advancing its space and communication capabilities.
