Tickets for 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games Ice Events Nearly Sold Out

The excitement is building as most tickets for the ice events at the ninth edition of the Asian Winter Games in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, have already been snapped up, organizers announced during a press conference on Wednesday.

With less than three weeks remaining, over 1,270 athletes from 34 Asian nations and regions are gearing up to compete in 64 events spanning 11 disciplines across six sports. The action kicks off on February 3, with the host country's athletes making their debut on February 4.

Fans can look forward to witnessing 64 gold medals being contested, with the first champion set to be crowned on February 8. While the ice events will take place in Harbin, the snow events are scheduled for Yabuli.

To ensure the Games run smoothly and securely, organizers have conducted 17 test events for all sports and venues, successfully completing 14 of them so far.

Given that snow events are weather-dependent, more than 30 weather experts have been deployed in Yabuli to assist the staff in managing and responding to real-time conditions, ensuring that the competitions proceed without a hitch.
