As the 2025 Asian Winter Games approach, Harbin, the host city, is ramping up its transportation infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity for athletes, staff, and fans. A significant development is the addition of more train services between Harbin and Yabuli, the venue for freeski and snowboard competitions.
Yabuli boasts three train stations, with the West Station now served by 51 high-speed trains. This means a train arrives every seven minutes, efficiently connecting different competition zones. The fastest trains will cover the journey in just one hour and two minutes, ensuring timely arrivals for all participants.
In addition to high-speed options, the number of slower, more common trains stopping at Yabuli Railway Station has increased to 12. A new direct slow train from Beijing to Yabuli's South Station has also been introduced, providing a convenient option for travelers coming from the capital.
To further facilitate movement during the Games, special ticket offices have been established at all stations where Asian Winter Games trains make stops. These offices cater to athletes, program staff, and media personnel, allowing them to purchase tickets easily and navigate between competition zones without hassle.
The 2025 Asian Winter Games are scheduled to take place from February 7 to 14, promising an exciting week of winter sports and international camaraderie. With these enhanced train services, attendees can look forward to a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the event.
