The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) has launched an English-language database dedicated to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
This comprehensive database integrates authoritative online resources and multilingual literature, primarily in English. It features original texts, relevant news reports, important speeches, congratulatory letters, messages, books, and signed articles by Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
Leveraging the National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation, established by CASS in 2016, the database has already reached over 90,000 institutional users and 8 million individual users across more than 190 countries and regions worldwide, according to Wang Lan, director of the CASS library.
“By disseminating Xi Jinping Thought internationally, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and dialogue on socialism with Chinese characteristics,” Wang Lan told CGTN.
The library has extensively collected multilingual literature resources on Xi Jinping Thought through online collection and resource cooperation, ensuring that the data sources remain authoritative and reliable.
