Han Zheng to Attend Trump’s Inauguration, Strengthening China-U.S. Ties

In a significant diplomatic gesture, Vice President Han Zheng, the special representative of Chinese President Xi Jinping, will attend former President Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20 in Washington, D.C., according to a statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Friday.

The invitation from the U.S. side highlights a willingness to enhance bilateral relations between China and the United States. The spokesperson emphasized that China adheres to the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation in its dealings with the U.S.

\"We stand ready to work with the new U.S. government to enhance dialogue and communication, properly manage differences, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, jointly pursue a stable, healthy and sustainable China-U.S. relationship, and find the right way for the two countries to get along with each other,\" the spokesperson stated.

This move is seen as a step towards fostering a more constructive and collaborative relationship between the world's two largest economies, paving the way for future cooperation on global challenges.
