Working at the National Astronomical Observatories of China (NAOC), Zhang dedicates his spare time to observing and photographing snowflakes. His journey began in 2005 when he started capturing images of these delicate ice crystals. Driven by curiosity, he advanced his technique between 2007 and 2008 by incorporating a microscope into his photography setup.

\"I just want to collect different kinds of snowflakes,\" Zhang shares. His meticulous approach allows him to reveal the unique patterns and structures that make each snowflake one-of-a-kind.
