Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, emphasized the need to resolutely win the tough, protracted and all-out battle against corruption during the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).
In his address, Xi highlighted the unprecedented efforts made since the beginning of the new era to advance full and rigorous Party governance and the ongoing fight against corruption, which have yielded widely recognized results.
Xi Jinping, also serving as Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, stressed the importance of taking resolute and sustained actions to combat corruption, stating, \"Corruption is the greatest threat to the Party, and combating it represents the most thorough kind of self-reform.\"
