Yinchuan, the vibrant capital of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, was jolted by two earthquakes on Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The first tremor, measuring 4.8 in magnitude, struck Yongning County at 10:01 a.m. (Beijing Time), followed by a second quake with a magnitude of 4.6 at 4:43 p.m.
These seismic activities were felt across the region, highlighting the importance of earthquake preparedness in Yinchuan.
