Sorling believes that table tennis gained significant momentum after the Paris Olympics. She highlighted the Mixed Team World Cup in Chengdu, which introduced a new competition format, showcasing the potential of team collaboration.
The ITTF president also pointed out that the Chinese mainland, a powerhouse in table tennis, has been at the forefront of gender equality. Superstars like Sun Yingsha have played pivotal roles in the development of the sport.
