Siberian Tigers Thrive in Snowy Shenyang Park

The dipping temperatures in recent days have created a winter wonderland for the over 100 Siberian tigers residing at Guaipo Siberian Tiger Park in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, northeast of the Chinese mainland.

These majestic creatures have been embracing the snow, playing on the ground, strolling through forests, and even huddling together around trees to stay warm.

Zookeepers have gone the extra mile to ensure the tigers' comfort during the chilly season. According to Song Haishan, a zookeeper, \"As it's cold in winter, we have added more meat to the tigers' diets, such as beef and pork, to help them resist the cold. As it's also wet in winter, we have been regularly supplying dried straws to the outdoor enclosure to protect the tigers from the cold and keep them warm.\"

Thanks to these thoughtful arrangements, the tigers have been spotted lounging on the straws and enjoying the sunny winter days.
