The 26th Harbin Ice and Snow World officially opened its doors on Saturday in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, welcoming visitors to its largest edition yet. Expanding to an impressive 1 million square meters from last year's 810,000 square meters, this year's theme park is set to dazzle with a plethora of new attractions.
Utilizing a staggering 300,000 cubic meters of ice and snow, the park's themed \"Dream of Winter, Love among Asia\" draws inspiration from the upcoming 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games, scheduled for February 7 to 14 next year. This theme reflects a celebration of winter sports and the cultural unity of Asia.
At the heart of the park stands the main tower, a stunning structure inspired by the official emblem of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). Spanning nine main zones, visitors can explore iconic landmarks recreated from the 42 countries and three regions that are members of the OCA, showcasing a diverse range of architectural marvels.
One of the standout attractions is the Super Ice Slide, now boasting 24 lanes to accommodate thrill-seekers of all ages. Additionally, the park introduces cutting-edge virtual reality experiences and immersive digital art exhibits, ensuring that every visit offers something new and unforgettable.
As Harbin Ice and Snow World continues to evolve, it remains a beacon of winter wonder, attracting millions of visitors from around the globe and setting the stage for the highly anticipated Asian Winter Games.
