Chinese Mainland Launches New Communication Test Satellite with Long March-3B

The Chinese mainland successfully launched a communication technology test satellite into space from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwestern Sichuan Province on Friday.

The satellite was propelled by a Long March-3B carrier rocket at 11:12 p.m. Beijing Time and has successfully entered its planned orbit.

This advanced satellite will enhance satellite communications, radio and television services, as well as data transmission capabilities. Additionally, it will conduct tests and verification of related technologies to ensure optimal performance.

Notably, this launch marks the 554th mission of the Long March series carrier rockets, underscoring the Chinese mainland's ongoing advancements in space technology.
